New Tradition: Selling A Home During The Holidays...

Once upon a time NOBODY bought a home during the holidays. They never shopped for a home, never viewed a home and always had faith that they would find what they wanted post January 1. Then came inventory shortages, the internet and the 'I want it now' consumer. Today's buyers are always looking online and that makes selling a home in December so much different than it used to be. Consumers can home shop 20 minutes a day in the evening or (gasp) at work and if that one special property pops up, they'll act. In years past the buying process was so much harder with buyers just not having the time to go out during December and look at homes all day. For buyers and sellers, December now tis the season. Hint hint sellers...it can be your best time to market your property for these very reasons.
